Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Buffalo Audubon Society, Inc. is relying on sole source procurement with Buffalo Treehouse LLC for the Buffalo Audubon Treehouse Complex project. This project will help build a unique, ADA-compliant Treehouse Complex at Beaver Meadow Nature Center with raised nests, pavilions, exhibits, and gardens to enhance programming and experiences. A fully-funded ADA-compliant trail will connect all of these elements to create a state-of-the-art recreation and nature destination for people of all ages and abilities. It will offer walking, hiking, teaching, and relaxation opportunities. The project is expected to more than double visitor interactions, increase education opportunities and membership, and create tourism revenue. The total estimated value is $1,068,889.
