Birding at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge: Shorebird Migration

August 29, 2026

Join Buffalo Audubon at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge

Head out with Senior Naturalist Tom Kerr for a birding tour down the feeder road at Iroquois NWR. We’ll be looking for Sandpipers, Plovers, and other shorebirds as they make their way south and to the coast to spend their winter.

Binoculars and a spotting scope will be available

This is a free program and donations are gratefully accepted

We will be meeting at the parking lot by Kanyoo Trail and Feeder Road off of Lewiston Road (Rt 77)
