SpringFest Recap

SpringFest has ended, but here’s what it was all about. We invite you to join us next year!

  • Vote in the fairy house competition
  • 9 guided themed hikes (see schedule below)
  • 3 education animal presentations
  • ?Live music
  • Lunch and two snacks
  • Basket raffle and 50/50
  • Lawn games
  • Nature center admission included

Guided nature-based art projects and other family activities will be available. Spend time in the Nature Playscape (our all-natural playground), and visit the updated Fairy House Lane and new Storybook Trail.

The Tappy Trailer will be on site selling beer and wine. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed.?

Limited spots are available for 60-minute hikes at 12:00, 1:00, and 2:00. Three hikes will be offered every hour. Sign up is at SpringFest, on a first-come, first-served basis. You can meet our hike leaders here!

Education animal presentations featuring our Snapping Turtle, Eastern Screech Owl, and Eastern Kingsnake will be held at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30.

SpringFest has ended, but here’s what it was all about. We invite you to join us next year!

For those who purchased pre-sale admission, an attendee list has been generated so you’ll just need to head to the Check-In Tent and give your name.

Day-of event pricing is $45 for General Admission, $25 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free (lunch for children under 5 may be purchased for $8).

VIP tickets include reserved parking spot, tent seating and shared tables, upgraded complimentary snacks and soft drinks, and limited alcoholic beverage tickets. Note: VIP tickets are sold out.

Parking is free in our Beaver Meadow lots. Look for our friendly volunteers for help!

Lunch from the Cheesy Chick Food Truck is included with admission (one sandwich with or without meat, one side, and one soft drink; gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available). Two complimentary snacks (selection includes bananas, granola bars, and cheese sticks) are included with each paid admission. A water bottle fill station is available inside the nature center. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.

The following are also available for an additional fee: s’mores campire station, basket raffle, 50/50, snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine.

Basket raffle tickets are $10/sheet of tickets or 3 sheets/$20. Drawing will take place at 2:00. You must be present to win.

Please bring your own chairs and blankets as seating will be limited. No pop-up tents allowed. VIP tickets include tent seating.

Consider bringing sunscreen, bug spray, and refillable water bottles. The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.

We accept credit cards, checks, and cash.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed at Beaver Meadow.
